Early on in his sales career, Jeff worked in the Telecom industry where he developed small & medium sized business accounts. After a few years in the industry, new opportunities arose and Jeff advanced to working with major Fortune 500 companies. Over the course of nearly 10 years in the industry, Jeff built a solid reputation as top performing sales person who was an outside the box thinker in developing new business.
Eventually, Jeff’s desire to lead a more personally fulfilling career led him to venture out into the exciting world of Real Estate! It was here that Jeff found a home! As Jeff describes it, “For me, being a Realtor is a GET TO job! When you find something you really enjoy, that’s fun, personally fulfilling and makes a difference for people, you never wake up feeling like you HAVE TO go to work”.
Upon his first year into the business as a Realtor, Jeff sold homes for a Broker who specialized in selling and marketing spec homes for top builders in the DFW area. Having a passion for the business, Jeff quickly made a name for himself as a top producing agent his first year out of the gates. After 14 months in the business, Jeff was promoted to managing his own team of Sales Agents and assisting the owner in training and recruiting efforts. Soon after, the company merged with another firm and Jeff was promoted to Vice President of Sales, tasked with opening up a new branch office in Dallas. It was here that Jeff began to form a deep understanding of what it takes to run a real estate company. As V.P. of Sales & Operations, Jeff’s responsibilities ranged from sales management, training & recruiting to developing marketing strategies (print, internet & TV/Radio), developing builder partnerships, forecasting and investor relations.
During his second year in this position, Jeff’s entrepreneurial aspirations grew and he ventured out along side one of the Principals of his former company to start Select Realty Source. Select prided itself as hip boutique brokerage made up of savvy young Real Estate Agents on the leading edge of selling and marketing new homes. Eventually, Jeff decided it was time to aim for a fresh new target. Jeff set out to focus his attention on the In-Town markets like Uptown, Park Cities and the Lakewood area where he had lived and played for the past 17 years. In doing so, he recognized the value of having a strong brand name behind him to grow his business and leveraging his contacts.
As a result Jeff joined, Allie Beth Allan, one of the premier brokerages in the Park Cities Area. It was here Jeff had the privilege to work with some of the most successful agents in the area in developing his understanding of the unique Park Cities neighborhoods. Eventually, Jeff realized that his personal brand of cool & contemporary needed to align with a broker brand that was designed much more like an APPLE rather than a PC!
After interviewing with a few different brokers, Jeff happily planted his feet firmly at David Griffin and Company Realtors in summer of 2009. Houston, we have contact! Now a year later, Jeff says he couldn’t be happier, his personal brand of cool and contemporary has found soul mate! Now 2010, Jeff has enjoyed the great success’s that seem to happen naturally when your in sync with a brand that matches who you are at heart. So, whether it’s from Uptown to Oak Lawn, Lakewood to Forest Hills, Downtown to Oak Cliff or Preston Hollow to Park Cities, you’ll likely see Jeff driving and smiling as he travels the across the city working with clients!
In Jeff’s spare time, he enjoys anything music, whether it be DJing, producing or just jamming out! As a well know DJ about town for the past 15 years, you have likely seen him playing at one of the hot spots around town like PM Lounge, ZaZa or a maybe a cool Modern Luxury social event! In addition, Jeff enjoys spending time with his favorite loved ones, mentoring with Big Brothers, going to the movies, reading about architecture/design, Yoga and of course sharpening his personal and professional saw at every opportunity!
