Construction is underway on one of Dallas’ most unique parks: a deck plaza covering Woodall Rodgers Freeway that will join the Uptown area with the Arts District downtown. Designed by the Office of James Burnett, the 5.2 acre, $80 million deck park will provide a pedestrian and bicycle connection between these vibrant urban neighborhoods. The Park’s amenities will include a children’s playground, dog park, restaurant and performance pavilion. The Park is expected to open in 2011. Read more
