In 1930, this building was constructed as a single family home. Shortly thereafter, it was converted to a 4 unit apartment building common during the Great Depression. Many believe historic homes such as this will eventually be converted back to single family homes. The building is located on a corner lot overlooking Lake Cliff Park in north Oak Cliff. It has views of the lake, downtown Dallas, and the Lake Cliff Tower condominium project.
